Ski Across The Alps
An Xtraordinary Ski Trip From Lake Geneva to Nice
In February 2014, a small group of adventurers had the opportunity to join a tailor-made skiing trip across the French Alps par excellence. The specs speak for themselves: 800km travel distance, 450km on skis, crossing 30 ski resorts, ascent about 3.000m vertical on skins, skiing down 42.000m vertical - does sound like fun, doesn't it? Priceless: the option to explore the diversity of untouched landscapes on the way while visit local cultural treasures - f.e. the Beaufort cheese makers. And the baest part: completely climate neutral!
Motivation
To Meet The Unimaginable
Planned as an unique adventure that will give you deepest insights in untouched nature and the diverse culture of the French Alps region, we set focus on going downhill. We skied the biggest and the smallest of the French Alps. The stars and the untouched beauties. We wanted it all: a beer in a lively rustic-style bar as well as an ascent on skins into the silence of the wild.
